Structure Light

The light is influenced by an open book; pages open in different directions. From that, my concept formed into a symmetrical and linear conceptual idea of an open book. The light is made from foam core and has two flaps that are connected by rectilinear planes. When those rectilinear planes are inserted, they extrude outwards allowing the light to be cast outwards creating shadows between each slot.
