Rooted: Penn Station Re-Imagined

Penn Station is fully subterranean rooting from the core of Madison Square Garden. From that one strong central core, roots are spread out through Manhattan, nearing bureaus, and states, to create an underground connection of transportation. This rooting connection is represented in this newly designed space through paths and circulation. Penn Station is transformed into a futuristic transportation hub, leading America to become aligned with European and Asian rail design. This push of futuristic design will also reinvent the idea of subterranean culture, an idea o homeless New Yorkers surviving off active and abandoned rail lines.
